Ferrari Gains on Mercedes in F1 Constructors' Battle After US GP

Ferrari closed the gap to Mercedes in the Formula 1 Constructors' Championship following the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas. Max Verstappen won the race for Red Bull, but Ferrari's strong performance proved crucial in the tight battle for second place. In the updated Drivers' Championship standings, McLaren's Oscar Piastri leads with 346 points, followed by teammate Lando Norris with 332 points. Red Bull's Max Verstappen sits third with 306 points, keeping the title fight alive.

George Russell of Mercedes holds fourth position with 252 points, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc occupies fifth with 192 points. Lewis Hamilton, in his first season with Ferrari, has accumulated 142 points for sixth place.

The Constructors' Championship tells the story of Ferrari's progress. McLaren leads comfortably with 678 points, but Mercedes now holds just a 7-point advantage over Ferrari, 341 to 334. Red Bull remains close behind with 331 points.
